At Arvicon International, we believe that our greatest asset is our people. Ensuring their safety and well-being is not just a priority; it’s a fundamental value that guides our operations. In line with this commitment, Arvicon International recently organized and conducted a comprehensive self-training session on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and gloves at our Bundi Factory on September 2nd, 2025.

Investing in a Culture of Safety

The session, designed for our valuable factory employees, focused on fostering a proactive culture of safety. In industries like ours, where the handling of natural stone involves various processes and machinery, understanding and correctly utilizing PPE is absolutely crucial. This training was a testament to our ongoing dedication to creating a secure and accident-free working environment.

What the Training Covered:

The self-training session was meticulously structured to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring maximum engagement and retention. Key areas covered included:

  1. Understanding Different Types of PPE: Employees were educated on the various components of a comprehensive PPE kit relevant to their roles, including safety helmets, eye protection, hearing protection, safety footwear, high-visibility clothing, and, specifically, different types of gloves.
  2. Importance of Each PPE Item: The session emphasized why each piece of equipment is vital, explaining the potential risks and hazards it protects against. This shifted the perception of PPE from a mere requirement to an essential layer of personal protection.
  3. Proper Donning and Doffing Procedures: A critical component of the training involved hands-on demonstration and practice of correctly putting on (donning) and taking off (doffing) PPE, especially gloves, to prevent contamination and ensure full protection.
  4. Maintenance and Storage of PPE: To maximize the lifespan and effectiveness of PPE, employees were trained on proper cleaning, inspection, and storage techniques. This ensures that equipment remains in optimal condition for future use.
  5. Emergency Protocols: The training also touched upon immediate actions to take in case of an incident, reinforcing the importance of quick and correct response protocols.

Employee Engagement and Hands-On Learning

Our Bundi Factory team actively participated in the session, asking insightful questions and engaging in practical exercises. The interactive format allowed for real-time feedback and ensured that every employee felt confident in their understanding and application of the safety protocols. The focus on “self-training” empowered individuals to take ownership of their safety and become advocates for best practices within their teams.

Looking Ahead: Continuous Improvement in Safety

At Arvicon International, safety is an ongoing journey, not a destination. This PPE training session is one of many initiatives planned to continually enhance our safety standards and equip our employees with the knowledge and tools they need to work safely and effectively. We believe that a well-trained and safety-conscious workforce is pivotal to our operational excellence and the delivery of superior quality products.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all our employees at the Bundi Factory for their enthusiastic participation and commitment to making Arvicon International a safer workplace. Together, we build not just beautiful natural stone products, but also a stronger, safer community.
